jacksons are nice guitars but they have a thin neck. more meat than an ibanez obviously, but still pretty thin. If you like the ESP "Thin U" then why dont you get an ESP? pretty much every production model ESP/LTD has that neck profile and its really nice.

I'm confused about when you say the Hamer's neck is "almost right" as i would expect the neck to be more vintage feeling. maybe not '59 roundback vintage but maybe a 60s style neck...could be wrong though. but if its more an LP style neck then the jackson nor the esp will satisfy. i say go for the GIBBOS!

The Jackson is amazing but you really loved your LP Studio, may be better to go with what you know than what you don't.
If it was inexpensive guitars I would get the Jackson hands down, but dealing in high dollars scare me back to what I know and like.

Not to mention you can try the LP's before you buy.
