Yeah repairs are typically not a long term turnaround. The only exception to that I'm aware of was Cancer's, and he's getting a whole new guitar.
Actually a couple of that first run of Sii-7s had the same issue as TMM's, it was a bad batch of truss rods. The truss rod nuts on them stripped really easily. The truss rod nut on my Sii-7 from that run has the same issue, but since I haven't changed string gauges and the neck hasn't shifted noticeably in the two years since it happened, I haven't sent it in for repair. I'll probably send it in when my in-progress guitars arrive
