Axe-FX Firmware 6.01 clip - 5150 III heaviness

I was really happy to see that Fractal have added all three channels of a 5150 III to the Axe II now, and as expected it sounds pretty monstrous!

This is a short clip of the Red channel. I used my signature ViK Duality 7 for guitars, Dingwall Combustion for bass.

Yeah!! You increased my GAS by about 3,563519, which is quite a bit. Lucky me, I'm on the waiting list... should only be a couple of months by now.

How much time did you have to spend tweaking it? And which cab sim did you use (assuming you're going directly)?

Cheers dudes. Artean - it didn't take long because I basically took one of my other patches with the regular 5150 model and switched the amp. I'm using a concoction of a few of my own IRs for this one.

Thanks for the reply Nolly.

I put myself on the waiting list a week ago. I did own the Ultra for a year, and had to spend quite some time on every patch before I was satisfied. I'm hoping that the 5150 sims in the Axe 2 is more plug&play compared with the Ultra. At least, there are now two to choose from!
