Hi All,

The new Lynx is a beast even if a bit misunderstood.

Thought I would do a couple clips, one with channel one unboosted and one boosted.

What do you think?

The riffs are off the cuff and not preplanned so...

Sounds really good to me, both unboosted and boosted. Been curious about that amp for a while. What have people been misunderstanding about it? Just the fact it's a Bad Cat, but also high gain?

There can be overwhelming low mids/congestion.

Amp has a ton of gain and one needs to keep the gain and bass really low to get any clarity.

I hadn't considered the amp dry but listen to the clips I can see what you are referring to. May be how I have it mic'd.

I have a Lynx, and I've been liking it so far.
I can throw a clip on soundcloud of a quick thing I recorded last week if anyone's interested.
It's mid gain and I'm using a PRS Silver Sky
