I pray someone else has heard these guys!!?!! Caught a quick "hearing" glimpse on sirius today... "Learn to Live" is the track... Tracked down on you tube and HOLY S#IT I love the track!!!

Sick tight sound and the vocals are clean as hell!! Find out its the ex drummer from Devildriver and other top name acts... Just wanna spread the word!

Tried it already on my 8... Needs refining but the jist / rythym is down...

Anyone?...

It's kinda cool. No disrespect to these guys, them seem talented, but...it's just so generic sounding. I really like the (albeit scarce) clean vocals, but other than that, there's nothing that sets it apart from the hundreds of other songs exactly like it. Bands like that need to have an edge nowadays.

I wont disagree as yes it sounds similar to other current offerings... However... The punch and groove is nice.

And the clean vox is a very nice change of audio scenery

It's alright. It sounds like what I imagine a roadrunner commercialised djent band to sound like. Not necessarily a bad thing mind. It has a decent thump to it.

Waaay too generic. Plus the end of the chorus has that whole "reduce them all to bones" poseur badass vibe.

I dug it. Glad to see Doc back at it. Tommy is a solid vocalist, loved first DH album.

Hell, I've never minded "generic" as long as its a sound I already like.

I'll probably keep an eye on this one.

The 'reduce them all to bones' breakdown is one the greatest things in modern metal though :(

Not my favorite, but it's good. I'm a huge Doc Coyle fan, and really liked John Boecklin's sense of groove in Devildriver, so I'm very excited to see what else they come up with.

I get some Nu-Metal vibes from it (Nu-Djent I guess?).
It has elements I enjoy but, corny/forced/edgy lyrics are basically a requirement when it comes to anything even slightly nu-metal.

Deftones is just about the only band I've seen pull of nu-metal without being corny and even they have exceptions

Anyway, don't mean to shoot down your taste.
The guitar tone is sweet, bass drops are fun, and super polished drums give that bouncy Emmure/Thyartismurder vibe.

I think when the lyrics and riffs have more depth, people don't criticize the mix as much.
Its all a matter of taste.

you know what after to listening to it a couple of times it's growing on me. I really dig the clean chorus vocals and all the riffage in it, especially the opening riff.

It's not bad but it's a bit generic. I feel like I'm listening to a worse after the burial with clean vocals.
