.... Meshuggah?
You obviously put that in just to incite a reaction like mine, right?

Haha. Well I figured he was just going for off-time breakdowns and whatnot. In no way does WoP compare to Meshuggah's awesomeness.

really any deathcore band. Winds of Plague is probably (one of) the best Deathcore band(s) out there in my opinion, so you MAY be disappointed at what the rest of the genre has to offer. I was. YMMV.

More bands, just in case you weren't feeling those.
August Burns Red, All Shall Perish, The Analyst(more metal), Despised Icon, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Embrace The End(<3), Oceano, and Misery signals.
Just good some good solid bands to check out.
Some bands containing weird time signatures , some just being kick ass metal, and some just way out there with both :p.
Lemme know if you dig any of it man!

Anything on Sumerian Records really :D
After The Burial, ABACABB, Veil Of Maya

After The Burial sounds nothing like Winds Of Plague. :noway:

Veil Of Maya sounds similar to The Faceless to me, not WOP.

ABACABB, I can't really vouch for.

Well WoP isn't anything special to me. I don't really care for them, but for Born Of Osiris, they aren't anything special. Especially their new cd. I got it two weeks before it came out thanks to friends that work at a record store and they stopped all their sparatic patterns. And on The New Reign that was the only thing giving them an edge. If you want something along the lines of just WoP I guess would be bands around Armed For Battle.

I'm always busy listening to Carcass though :hbang:

Just add keyboards to brocore. There you go, Winds of Plague. None of the considerable bands on Summerian sound like Winds of Plague. They all know how to transition into other riffs, WoP does not.

Bleeding Through. That's Winds of Plague-lite haha.

If you like the symphonic element you should check out Abigail Williams.

As far as the whole Meshuggah influenced breakdown bands goes, check out Animals as Leaders. Not super breakdowny, but if you like sweet syncopated beats and polyrhythms/polymeters you'll like it.
