A couple years back my a good friend turned me onto these guys, and they've been a great influence on me lyrically. Great band with an awesome stage presence. They broke up a little while ago, more or less Matt (lead singer) left the band, and I haven't heard anything since their 2011 release.

But "The Greatest of All Lost Arts" is an excellent album and is something I constantly go back to.

Check out Miami Nights also, great track.

Man, I'm so old that I've seen so many good bands come and go...

Is Chris Poland still doing anything?

Yeah Chris is still doing work, he had a guest spot on Jeff Loomis' Planes of Oblivion, I haven't kept up with him lately though.

I was wondering why I haven't heard or seen anything new by Lower Definition and had no idea they broke up. That sucks to hear.

The Receiving End of Sirens had a huge influence on my writing. They do occasional one-off shows, but still doesn't make it less lame that they broke up.

Death: not really a breakup since Chuck was Death and its not like there is a chance he will come back, but I do miss them/him.

Clever Girl. One of my favorite math rock bands - an infectious blend of clean guitar, awesome drumming and bass, and sax to top it off. They only had one EP before they broke up though. :(
