Can happily say that my old band opened for Immolation back a few years ago. Even happier to say that Bob really appreciated that our bassist was using a 6 string fretless. It was an awesome gig.

I played a show with Foxy Shazam at the Gibson Showcase in Nashville- before they had a music video.

I also shared a practice space and played several shows with Framing Hanley back when they were Embers Fade.

That's about it.

Haven't been in an active band for about 5 years now, but my last serious band got booked on some pretty awesome shows.

The ones I can remember right now -

Carnifex
MyChildren MyBride
Parkway Drive
Mushroom Head
Burden of a Day
All That Remains
in theory (this band contained members who would go on to join Sky Eats Airplane)
Oh Sleeper

Probably some others (I know I'm missing one or two bigger, known acts), but this is all I can recall right now lol.

Yeah man! All of them are reallyy nice and cool dudes. Spent a lot of time talking to Christian and Steffen about music and guitar crap. There's also a picture floating somewhere on the interweb of Christian wearing my band Victims Of Contagion's shirt in Milano.

Interesting thread.

There's been too many to mention over the years but here's my personal highlights - for various reasons.

Motorhead - Nuff said
Napalm Death - Seriously nice bunch of guys
Therapy? - Another bunch of nice guys.
Lost Prophets - I knew the singer was a dick and this was when I first met them in 1999
Bullet For My Valentine - they supported my band. They were just a shitty punk-style band called 'Jeff Killed John' before jumping on the new millenium metal bandwagon. Now they're a shitty 'metal' band.

Man, my bands never really got many chances to open for anyone good.

Ill Scarlett once, back right before they got big.
Omega Crom which was pretty cool, Stu Block is a monster live.
Anonymous who really isn't that big.
Then some "big" local bands... Skepsis, Death Toll Rising, Train Bigger Monkeys, and some others that I'm embarrassed to admit I forget the names of.

We were supposed to open for Ensiferum once but that fell through.

My band has played one show and the headliner was Forever in a day, that doesn't even touch anything you guys have done.
