Hey everyone. I've been using bare knuckle pickups for a few years now, before the whole "djent" thing set in and everyone started ordering them. Anyway I was wondering if you think a VH-II in the neck and a Cold Sweat in the bridge would sound good on my 7 string? The neck is mainly used for cleans, and the bridge for rhythm and solos

The Coldsweat bridge has some brittle highs in my opinion. I loved it for rhythm work but I couldn't vibe with in the higher registers. I thought the Coldsweat neck however, was the finest pickup I'd ever used in the position.

I've been through most contemporary pickups from BKP and the bridge pup I preferred for rhythm and leads was the Alnico Nailbomb. It might not be as tight as a Cold Sweat, Painkiller or Aftermath, but it's a great compromise between leads and rhythm, especially if you're looking for a thick tone.
