Bass back from the shop

After waiting for like 2 months for the pickups to arrive from the US, my bass is finally ready.

So I am on the way to go pick it up. I now have $1000 of preamps & pickups in a $1400 bass...

I went for the demeter bass preamp with seymour duncan passive phase 2 nyc soapbar pickups. Will post pics when picked up!

I have a Demeter pre in my James Tyler bass.

It's just real powerful in the way that it shapes sound. There's no extreme, unusual settings, it just allows you to tweak sounds to what you need at the time.

It's a Schecter Stilleto studio 5.

Recording with a POD X3 at the moment, still searching for a good bass tone for something tuned that low. But I will get something organised soon!
