I was just looking at this in the gallery yesterday. I noticed it from Beat Street also. Nice Yamaha DG too. How do you get along with that head in a high gain situation? I'm mostly a fusion player and want the DG-80 for holdsworthian reasons, but am not sure if it could handle a situation when I want to slam into drop A and play Nile every now and then.

I've had this amp for about 7 years now and I've had nothing but good luck with it. It does get a little noisy but I've kind of just learned to deal with it. I get a really good brutal distortion out of this thing. However I have been thinking that sometimes change is good and I will probably be in the market for a new head in a few months or so. I've been thinking about a Line 6 Vetta II or possibly a Mesa Triple Rectifier.
