Hey everyone. Bernie sent me some shots of three prototypes he's working on right now. Take a look at these works in progress.

I'm pretty sure I remember a few members asking for Explorer style 7's a few weeks ago. Here you go:

Single cut

Headstock hasn't been cut yet. Shape might change.

Tele!

Like any custom you order, you can select whatever scale length (24.75" and up), number of frets/strings, woods, finish, hardware, etc. Bernie sent me some pictures of really gorgeous top woods that he has available in the shop right now.


There will be more pictures to come once the finishes have been applied and everything is assembled.

i'd venture something on par with his other axes, but right now with a pretty huge waiting time?

Yeah that's what i would expect. i have had huge tele-GAS lately, and this as a 27" sevenstring would be just perfect!

That purple is incredible. You should absolutely order that! That's my favorite color to throw on top of exotic woods.

Yeah, I agree with the suggestion to make the Explorer pointier. I like Explorers, but I loooooove Kellys. I'd love to see a Rico Jr take on a Kelly.

I honestly don't like it ever since the 1st time I've seen it.

It just looks off, and thats coming from a "Star" shape fan.

I'd take the Xiphos / Stealth / Warrior any day over that.
