Another question for those that own an IR2, have tried it or just know: are the high gain sounds the same as what's in the Katana amps? Or are they better?

They should be better, as I believe the Katana is based off of previous generation amp modeling, where as the IR2 is based off of their current (but still kinda old) flagship modeling.

They chose to omit certain features like a noise gate and boost section while an even cheaper product in a similar sized package exists with a full array of effects and more amps...
