Brands of 26.5" and 27" 7 strings

Need some recommendations and places to look please gentleman.

After 7 strings, im partial to the extended scale, 26.5 or preferably 27".

FIXED BRIDGE. Still unsure weather TOM or Hard Tail.

All i can think of is Jackson, Ibanez, ESP and not a whole lot else that fits those criteria.

most brands that make 7's are bound to have at least one longer scale model.

Schecter Loomis SIG is a nice. Hardtail

and carvin does not make extended scale 7s

Schecter, ibanez, agile, and jackson are the only ones that I know of that have extended scale production. Ltd only has 25.5" scales.

Well... they make the DC800, but yeah... no extended 7-strings.... yet...

The bc rich outlaw 7 is 26,5" i think
Edit: mayones also offers most of their 7s with 27" scale

I only see deans at 26.5 for 8 strings, but not 7's.


Strictly7 - makes 7's with a 27.5" scale, their customs can vary.

I think schecter's all 7 strings are 26,5 neck.

All the Stephen Carpenter sigs with a "b" after the model number. They are all 27".
I just got a SCT607b and love it to death.

The availability on the RGD7421 is kind of strange though. For example, Musiciansfriend/Guitar Center sell it but Sweetwater and Amazon don't. Likewise with the RG7421 except its the opposite....
