Still waiting to address the actual problem people...
So back to challenge, as others have said many pages ago, don't rule out a repair which, while may be as expensive as getting a new neck, will maintain the guitar's authenticity.
To see the art of the possible, read Dan Erlewine's book on guitar repairs. I'm sure there are repair videos a-plenty on Youtube (Twooford's channel springs to mind here: it may have been him I saw repair a vintage Gibson LP Std's snapped neck).
A photo of the damage will help me assess the likelihood of success.
