2020 50's standard goldtop - I am second owner. Seller's pics (the board is not almost ebony under my lights but it's nice and dark). 9.8/10 condition - one ding and one small dent I could find. 8lb 15oz on my friends' scale. It's a good one! I would say the neck is between my '21 R9 and '22 68RI Custom.

Wasn't opposed to an R7 but pretty happy to save some coin and get a great guitar in the process. Clips under photos.

I've been having some major R9 GAS recently, but I've also been considering a Standard 50s Goldtop since I love the gold top on my 96 Les Paul Classic and it's a little more affordable.

Looks absolutely stunning as always and HGND!

Looks amazing congrats!

Now do a sacrilege. Put EMG’s in it.
If that didnt mean routing it, maybe. Sounds great as is though.

Yep natbacks are the goods. If my standard was black top only I’d be fine with it. Im 2 and 2 with LP natbacks now.

... over there...
... now you have enough dead weight to go for scuba diving...
... and you know what to do when the time gets freezing cold...
... you know that not everything that shines is gold, right?... right?
... there are 2 types of guitar players, those who like Les Pauls and those who like Strats. Don't be any of those...
... you know music is about making time pause, not being stuck in the past...
... back to the future is a trilogy of movies about going back in time further and further... you're getting there...
... and I'm out of stupid jokes...

This was my attempt to say "Hey nice, have fun with it"... now seriously, what matters is that the guitar brings you joy, and that I wish you all. 😁

Mmm, a goldtop is still on my GAS list - though lately I've been tempted by the aged white MIJ variants.

Killer! I've got a 21 and it is a fantastic guitar.

Also no idea how I missed this yesterday
The dark board and straight grain at 9lb ish indicated it may be a pretty good one. Suspicions were correct. Guy who bought it prefers his Suhr strat which told me at least he knows what a pretty good guitar is (in theory).
