Hey guys ,

i am planning on building my very own music studio :

it will be based on :

any M-audio soundcard . Seen some at 250$ , like that , and they seem perfectly fine .
I need M-audio because it would be pretty tight to give some protools lessons as well .

My computer \o/

(will be replaced , as quick as i get money ... but for now , let's stick on my good ol' laptop)

microphones (i need help for those) , yo [i thought about like something resembling a SM57 and something resembling a ribbon microphone . And one for voice , and two other SM57 kinda microphone , and a stereoset .

May i be able to record drums with an active cardioïd for bassdrum and a stereoset for the rest ? )

my guitar , piano (digital one \o/) , djembe , didgeridoo , amp , ukulele , whisky and condoms .

What i hope doing this is to make a few bucks out of recording local bands for really cheap . I think it can work , if i do good for cheap ... besides , it's just to make a few bucks more and to have fun , i already give guitar , mix and piano lessons

So ... had i forgotten a thing ? what do you recommend ? what's your setup ? Any thoughts ?
