this guitar is FUCKING hot. it plays great, and even the stock pickups sound
decent. the neck joint is weird, but i'll get used to it. the back of the neck
has that gloss finish, which is fine, since my first guitar was like that.
...which, is the big reason why i wanted this guitar. it was a Hohner LP copy,
and i miss it dearly (gave it to my brother).

Dave almost nabbed this. thanks for passing it along :noodles:

Edit: due to interest in seeing the neck joint, here it is:

Woah f*cking entertaining picstory!!!

... And nice guitar. I'm pretty sure these > Epi LP7. They look like their built quality is a level above.

Congrats!

Epic powers, Leon!

And sweet guitar. I've always loved the sunburst ones, but i rarely see good photographs of them. You got a gorgeous one! The pickups do sound really good, but you need to be careful with them. Mine were very microphonic once i started playing at full rehearsal volume with them. That's what prompted the changeover to Duncans.

Darren, just noticed that a bit ago. i hit my lead patch, and got some serious hiss. so, i'll probably be copying your specs ASAP

you've got the JB-7 and, which? do they come in zebra colors? i'm thinking of also going with the push/pull series/parallel config i've got on my RG762x's.
