I've owned two Agile guitars. They were OK. Nothing special. I've played a Carvin and it was an AWESOME guitar.
The only reason that Agile guitars are popular is their price. It used to be that you could get an Agile for $400 that was better than other company's guitars for $600-800. Now, Agiles are $600-700 competing with $700-900 guitars... Not as good of a deal anymore. Maybe the quality has improved? Either way, I'd much rather have a Carvin than an Agile, especially if the price difference was only $50-100.
Plus, if you need to resell the guitar, you'll take a BIG hit on the new Agile, but the used Carvin will have already lost most of its value, so you'll get more money back from the Carvin.
I disagree! I quite like reading the Russian -- makes me wish I had more time to study it.
