Ok, so i have the screws, the knobs, and im just waiting on the backplate for the electronics cavity. but the tech who replaced the pot ziptied all the wires, so everything is tidy - i was jamming with it on friday :).

so without further ado (and this is my buddy's house after we jammed - blackouts sounded fine, but i wasnt using the good cab - full report later):

she dont sound half bad!

but im on the clean channel right now, and considering its got actives... its got practically no bite to it lol. its a very warm clean, which i like but its missing some treble - and the treb's on 7.5 on the EQ lol.

gonna go muck about w/ the ole dirty channel again now.

 Very awesome guitar. Always had a thing for the Carvin 7 shape, and the black quilt must look awesome in person.:metal:

Cell phone cameras should be banned...

If you're "missing" treble on a 727, don't feel bad. There's typically too much...

try turning it the other way, in case the tech wired it backwards. James blew through like 10 different pickups for his bari7 cause the tone pot was turned all the way up, but wired backwards

first thing, is unlock the tremelno
from there, just have some fun wiggling it around man. try slapping it down (or flip it away from the neck and slappign it up) for some wierd superfast bend (or dip) sounds. dont be afraid to divebomb like an idiot either, it comes with the territory

hit some natural harmonics and play with it. also, the whammy bar can turn feedback squeal from an annoyance to your best friend on stage. if you can control the feedback and just do whammy tricks on it between songs, it looks super pro to alot of people who dont know whats going on lol.
