Cats are the only friends you'll ever have that will love all over you one minute, then trip you at the top of the steps and watch gleefully as you break your neck and limbs on the way down.

We worshipped the little bastards for centuries. They still haven't gotten over it.

I wish my cat were this helpful. When I remodeled my bathroom, she decided to take a dump on the floor IMMEDIATELY after I got it all prepped for tile. I think she hated the loud noises
My cats HATE the jigsaw and the nailer/ miter saw. They run off while I use them, and then when I'm just smacking flooring in place they hang around. Shrimp was napping on the leftover carpet right up until I tossed it all lol

For the first photo, I can't turn the clock off my lock screen and the original photo is buried in the file index so it is what it is- but here is a few pics of my 2 guys. They're brothers from the same litter and have never been apart. Fluffy one has multiple myeloma and is undergoing chemo at the moment. They're 16 years old now.

Yeah they used to sleep like this all the time together. Since the chemo started, it's been a bit more sparing. Not sure if the other one can tell or smell it or something, but I'm hoping for a courageous winning battle so they can get back to that every day/night.

They're good dudes. Except when they use their double-pawed meathooks to turn doorknobs and open them, open drawers to steal bags of treats or food, and any number of other reckless hidden talents they have lol

Gotta keep all the cabinets tied shut with dish cloths.

As if I need another thread to show off my furry little goobers (not Murphy, though, she's an angel). My partner and I adopted Bruce and Murphy when they were around 3 months old shortly after moving in together ("now she'll never leave me, huehuehue") and they just turned 8.

Here's a few recent shots since we started letting them outside (only while supervised and in our backyard) this past year (3 guesses as to which one is Bruce Wayne and which one is Murphy Cooper):
