Circle k strings

Just changed my .74 to a .79--still very flabby. Circle k strings are good, but I wish I didn't have to unwind the dang strings. Who makes a better string. And how can I raise just the low e, or I guess f#, tuned down to e, per tobins suggestion. Much easier for barring power chords way down deep, but the flabbiness is just enough to annoy the hell our of you. Love my baby, but I think I'm gonna have to haul her in to the shop.
I like the looks of those 7 string, 27 " scale, rondo guitars for under $200. Might grab me one of those for variety. And hows their 9 string? They also have a gold, les paul looking sixstring for $125!

What scale are you currently using? im guessing 25.5. if so that could be your problem.

La Bella makes thick strings to order, and since you have to input your guitar model when ordering, I'm assuming they make it with enough wrap to clear the nut but not have to unwind any.

Yeah I think I will try labella out. And maybe figure out how to adjust my truss rod. Mahalo.
