Looking for a dealer who sells colored guitar bindings, preferably purple, can't find it anywhere, anyone got any leads?

Just found this on eBay after a quick search. Only downside is that it's from China, so you might have to wait a while on shipping. They have a few colors, though they're not solid colors if that's what you're after. Hope this helped, good luck in your search!

It's very difficult to find solid(non-pearloid), bright coloured binding.
The only one that i've really seen is bright red.

There's always the option of getting very light coloured maple binding and staining/dyeing it bright purple. The only other way of doing it would be to find some purple plastic sheet of some kind (not an easy thing to find again!) and cutting and thicknessing it to the right dimensions.

if you can find an acrylic sheet supplier near you you can buy them with the color you need and cut them to size

Didn't notice this being addressed so:

What about gluing acrylic binding? Does acetone work? Or should one use some epoxy and tape it? I don't really know the chemistry behind plastics and stuff :D

Fact.

I've been looking all over for solid color sheets to cut strips from. Acrylic and plexiglas are too rigid to work with. Even if you can heat it and form it to fit, after it's all on there, it'll be prone to cracking.

ABS is probably the best stuff to get for binding, but again, sheets are very hard to find.
