I'm a 17 year old drummer looking for a single guitarist to write and tab music for an aggressive project. I want this person to write several short (under two minute) songs under the genre as dictated. Although you will have complete artistic voice in each song, keep in mind that this will be my project, and that you are helping me to fulfill a goal. If you read this expecting to join a band, or to be playing shows, please stop right here. I am looking for someone to write and tab out songs for me, and then I will bring in a bunch of other musicians to record and play the songs.
That's drummer logic if I've ever seen it.

His drumming sounds okay, at best, from what I can hear in his "progressive"* metal bands live recordings. However, I've met kids who could absolutely smoke him after a year of playing so maybe I'm giving him a bit too much credit.

He's got an ego that his skills can't back up (sounds like 17 year old musician to me), and is looking for a form of assistance no self respecting (let alone talented) musician would ever be willing to give him.

*That descriptor is a painfully huge stretch.

I don't know about anyone else, but if I write, tab and arrange the music I'm the fucking leader of the band.

Indeed. Seems like a lotta work to get nothing out of it but the hopes of a pat on the back.

I don't understand his mentality at all. Like, you want someone to write music for you and then not take any credit for it at all? The fuck?

I was nowhere near this douchey AT ALL last year when I was 17.

Totally off-topic, but I gotta say this kid has better writing skills than 85% of the upper-level suits I work with/for.

I notice these things.

My drummer was kinda like that. For a while he just wanted me and the other guy to either cover unknown songs or just sample our instruments so he could turn em into drum n bass. The other 2/3 of the band said NO SIR.

"My name is Tucker Fatal. I am a musician, a writer, and an artist. "

And I'm a chef, an architect and a prophet.

Reminds me of the time some guys wanted me to write produce and record their music for them, stating I have nothing better to do anyways...

Also using my equipment as well and not getting paid or credited

Yea that was insulting  ..

My drummer would blow this kid out of the water leading with his left hand and using only one foot.

Not even kidding.. That's the funny part

seems like this kid has never
had his chops dragged through
the mud by a more experienced
drummer. yeah he's decent, but
i don't think its enough to warrant
such an overbearing attitude.

i agree with max though, tuckie fresh
could just be frustrated by all the flakey
musicians he's encountered. someone on
here should reply to his add and capture
the encounter on video. we could end up
totally wrong about the kid, or totally right
and entertained.

I live in the same town. No one knows his bands that I can find and he is quickly becoming a bar joke. :D
