Crappy mockup: inlays vs no inlays

K so if I were to get a mostly black-fronted guitar I'd either want no inlays or offset dots...but I can't choose which:

Originally I was thinking no inlays but I've always liked the offset dots. Any preferences? :)

I vote for either none, or a single inlay (not necessary just a single one at the 12th fret, but maybe something bigger on the board that spans a couple of frets). Ultimately you've posted a pretty minimalistic guitar, so IMO it's keeping with the theme to go blank.

By the way, it will have the ivoryish binding and a not quite so jet black fretboard (dark Macassar), so maybe a slightly busier fretboard wouldn't lend itself to inlays as well?
