Critique my mix: Pod HD Pro, SD2.0, Progressive metal

Hey guys

Let me know what you think about this mix; the guitar tone, drums, levels, axolotls etc. I feel there is something missing when I compare it to other peoples mixes but I have no idea what it is. It could just be me

Guitar tones are the Pod HD Pro
Bass is my standard guitar with a pitch glide on the Pod HD Pro
Drums are SD2.0

Sounds really hollow and like the soundstage is sitting a bit "further back" than I'd care for (listened to it on studio monitors). If you added some synth or something with mids, it might sound a bit more rounded; try adding another guitar track with a slightly different patch?

I think more attention to the "bass" would help. You need something sitting at 250hz. Yes 250hz can make it muddy but not enough can make something thin.
