Okay! Virgin to this forum. 
I've been sequencing in MIDI for the last four years now - I am very comfortable with it, but I have only recently started to record with it. I'm actually most comfortable sequencing with Cubase VST Score 5.1 but that is very old now (you installed it with floppy disks) so I got Cubase LE.
Big mistake.
MIDI is fine, but the wretched thing wont recognise my USB audio interface.
(Right now it is a M-Audio Fastrack)
I've heard this is less the interface and more Cubase, so what sequencers would people recommend me that are free that can handleUSB interfaces and MIDI sequencing? Also, it needs some capacity for Plug Ins so i can use DKFH.
Saw that 'KRISTAL' thing in the Sticky but i dont know if that supports MIDI.
Any ideas?
Also, im about to swap my POD V2.0 for an XT - can this plug straight into the computer as the M-Audio does - via USB?
I'll repost that part in G&E if no one knows.
