Damn, I keep coming back to this thread to look at them. I just love these two so much. What really gets it for me is that you can tell how much Dylan enjoyed making these by the detail and real artistry involved in the whole thing. Rad as fvck.

Are these painted rather than inlaid? Stunning work, either way. I just can't imagine anyone being able to inlay such intricate artwork.

I've got some Bog Oak somewhere and it weighs a ton.

I thought so too, at first, but it was brought up that they are ebony inlays.

Inlays are several types of wood, natural colors, no paint. Absolutely insane.

Sir, you have absolutely exquisite taste. Bravo. I love the raw natural look of these two guitars. It suits the Viking theme perfectly, and is at the essence of metal and its connection to the natural world. Brilliant. And twins? What a glorious idea!
