Oh btw... You get your necks from Doug right? How big of a difference in cost is his maple necks compared to his ebony? I think I remember him saying his maple adds an upcharge of $75?? Just curious if you know hehe

If you make the finish just a little transparent, just so that you get some texture on the top, I think it will look really good.
I think that an "all black"-guitar looks cheap, and if your going to do a handmade you might aswell go all the way.
