Hey guys, my band The Room Colored Charlatan decided to do this track for fun to test out our new 8 strings and I had fun working on the production for it.

I tried to get the guitar tone similar to the original let me know what you guys think of the production!!

Sounds great, the guitar tone is pretty close to the original. I kinda wish the chorus had even more of a gang vocal kind of sound to it, I'm thinking of something like Old Man Gloom- Eden's Gates. You can hear that it's been double tracked a few times but it's not very noticeable. It seems the snare gets lost a bit too but that might just be my setup.

Also that beginning has to be sampled from the original, right? It sounds exactly like it.

I think to me The kick sounds flat or to quiet maybe the vocals need to be a little quieter other than that everything else sounds good though I am on head phones, I am also a nobody so my opinion is probably invalid

Do you self record/mix/master all your stuff? If so what do use?

Yes we do, everything is recorded mixed mastered in my studio "skyline studios"
