Diezel VH4S question

Do any of you guys know if there's a way to safely the VH4S through only one cab?

If you cab has a stereo/mono switch, switch it to stereo and run a speaker cable to each input (left/right side of cab will run independently)

Peter's said that you can just zero out the master volume for the side that you're not using. Mesa/Boogie's suggested that for it's stereo power amps, so it seems to be an acceptable solution. Just don't accidentally turn it up without a load on it.

When I had a VH4S, I was never brave enough to try it. I always plugged in to two cabs.
