Does/Has anyone out there used the now discontinued Digitech RP350 for recording? Im using an Ibanez RG7321 (older model with crappy stock pickups) with it and I'm having a real hard time finding a good tone to record with. I've tried using presets from the digitech website, but none of them are really giving me that "djent" type sound that I am looking for.
Should I be perhaps using a plugin instead? If so, which ones are recommended/presets/amp models ect.
I eventually would like to upgrade to a Seymour Duncan blackout 7 abh-1n in the bridge (or another comparable pickup that doesnt require routing or cost me a small fortune....suggestions?) But until then I have to deal with the stock pickups.
