I Think I'm more inclined to go with the first one (brown and creamy), because it seems to compliment the guitar shape/concept better.

Try flipping the second one so the figure runs into the horns like it does in the first mock up. I'm inclined to think that'd settle the matter for me, because I like the flow of the first mock up better, but the colours and "quality" of the figuring is far superior (in my mind) on the second top.
