I recently bought 2 SSDs and installed them in Raid 0 for better performance, this is in addition to 2 Standard SATA drives in Raid 0. I'm noticing that programs that were installed on the 2 standard drives in Raid 0 are taking much longer to load from the 2 SSDs than they did before with the standard drives. I ran a performance benchmark test and notice the results here,

2 Standard SATA hard drives in Raid 0

Read 218
Write 191
Mixed 71
SusWrite 180

120% 165 MB/s
4K Read 1
4K Write 3.9
4K Mixed 1.2

247% 2.03 MB/s

Here are the 2 SSDs in Raid 0

Read 15.8
Write 338
Mixed 64.5
SusWrite 294

41% 178 MB/s
4K Read 13.7
4K Write 54
4K Mixed 24.2

80% 30.6 MB/s
DQ Read 336
DQ Write 323
DQ Mixed 208

190% 289 MB/s
I noticed that in 2 of the test the read speed is very slow.

My OS (Win 10 Pro) is running from its own SSD, just for fun here were the results from its test.

Read 152
Write 125
Mixed 143
SusWrite 84.3

28% 126 MB/s
4K Read 19.1
4K Write 53.9
4K Mixed 23.3

87% 32.1 MB/s
DQ Read 147
DQ Write 123
DQ Mixed 109

89% 126 MB/s

I do have the 2 new SSDs that I just installed running from a Raid/Sata card as I didn't have 2 free ports on my MB. Any ideas here? I thought about installing each hard drive by itself and then do a test to see if one tests slow compared to the other. Or I could possibly move something else to the card and run all the hard drive from the MB?

Thanks for any ideas you might have. If you want any more details on my system specs let me know.

Here is a link to the results from the benchmark test, I'm not sure how long these are available.

I get over 700MB/s on my MacBook's SSD. That seems really abysmal for any SSD, let alone a RAID 0'd setup.
