So started this today....done with sanding and weathering.

Picked up a heat gun, stains, and rad paint.

Let me know what you guys think.

I think paint will make or break and less in this case will be more.

In my opinion I think it needs some more abuse. The marks don't seem very defined or deep enough in the pics. I think I'd take something like a dull hatchet and whack and slash a few times in random spots.

but i think it'll look great with a nice brown stain on it

It now looks alot like my LP studio, except my LP is 18 years old and the abuse is natural. I like how it turned out, very nice and grungy.
