No complaints here, sort of the snare needing a bit more punch. I know better than anyone though that it is a completely subjective topic though.

I totally agree about the snare needing more punch. I have been trying to get more undertones in the snare to make it sound more natural and organic, and i'm trying to find that happy medium with the compression.

Without a doubt, it's a constant battle. There's a point where you just gotta go "fuck it" or you'll never stop in any one place.

Riff sounds dry. It's like blala-bla-lala. That's the problem for me. Drums sound nice and the mix sounds good. Guitar tone is dry and and a bit lifeless...as is the riff as I noted earlier.
