Edge-III 8 problem

I've got a bit of a problem with the Edge-III 8 on my RGA8.
The 3rd string(g) sounds different. If I tap the saddle units behind the string the 3rd sounds hollow. The other 7 don't.
Any thoughts guys?

Some saddles sit on a high base. But they're all the same material and there's nothing you can do about it.

Does it sound "off" when you play the string through amp? Fretted, open?
