We recorded the drums at a studio with a pro tools hd rig. Recorded the guitars in the same studio, then re-amped the DI signal through a pod xt pro.

chimp mixed it all internally in nuendo I believe, you'd have to ask him what plugs ins he used. I think he used Reason for synths & midi info.
