EMG81 with killswitch, quick question.

I have everything wired correctly. I have a normally open killswitch. Does it go between:

A) Ring and tip

B) Ring and sleeve

c)Tip and sleeve

I want to make sure I'm not shorting my battery whenever I hit the button!

Pickup hot to ground, not battery hot to ground. I think this would be 'tip to sleeve'.
