sounds good but I would have stayed with just the left and right guitars

Quad track can be good, but I'm not sure here, the guitar tone sounds very muddy to me, but besides that it's cool!

i've never done quad tracks before

it does help you get that processed "djent" sound (if done right) but its kind of a lot of work and easy to fuck up if you dont mix right or if the takes arent perfect

Damn, dude. I'm not too cool with the inlays on that series, but you can't argue with that tone. I may have to upgrade from my ATX C-7.

I also have the ATX-7. I'd recommend getting the passive SLS - makes a good combo.

I didn't like the inlay at first, but up close, I actually do like it. It has kind of that "Ed Hardy" vibe going on. I do think the guitar would have looked nicer without anything on the fretboard though.

The SLS neck is as thin as an Ibanez Wizard. Body is a lot thinner too. Overall it's suuuuper comfortable, where-as the ATX felt kind of like you were holding a baseball bat.

I love it! :) It's nice hearing SSD in a mix. Distortion guitars are a quite muddy though.

Quad tracking is useful with massive chord sections (not just rhythm guitar). But when you are just riffing, try just dual tracking.

Quad tracking tends to make your tone sludgy and the clarity drops quite a bit.
Cool riffs though man.
