Have a couple of questions regarding eq pedals.

- Whats the best eq pedal for the price on the cheaper end? Not really looking at spending anymore than 120 bucks on this.

- Where is the best place to put a EQ pedal in an Effects chain? Does it really screw with the original signal?

I've searched a bit on this forum and I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, and additionally I am trying to add to my post count so please don't flame me!

If you play with distortion then putting the EQ before the amp will have a subtle affect on your tone, similar to plugging a different guitar into your amp, but plugging it into the effects loop will have a big affect. What are you trying to do/change?
