Interesting -- I was considering doing that finish, but I think glad I didn't. I imagined it more like moon craters. I'd still like to see a liquid metal black / dark grey.

Yeah if they can darken the shade to make it like you're describing, I think I'd be way more into it.
This is cool though:

Muuuuch better. Now this looks like a rusty planetary surface. Or a fall leaf.

This is literally the worst finish I've seen in my life. Most people with old houses here have the walls EXACTLY like that, and most would love to shave that shit off if it weren't bloody expensive and labor intensive to do.

And the worst part is that it's probably like $8k. This is beyond stupid. Literally the final boss of the ugly guitars thread!

I know this is the 2024 thread and all, but what would a person typically expect to spend in USD for a used (non- EII) ESP in very good condition? Ballpark range is what I'm looking for. Just a simple Horizon or M series. I know I'm not being super specific- sorry about that.

Anywhere from $800 - $4k unless you're willing to be more specific

Standard Series Horizons will run you 1200-2k depending on color, condition, and logo. I'd expect to spend 16-1800 on average. People will list them for higher but don't buy them for much more unless it's something you really have to have and you're willing to lose a chunk of change on resale. Those 2500-3k listings are delusional.

Perfect. That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks!

It looks like someone had a LITTLE too much fun "painting" that thing if you get what I mean
That's exactly what I was cumming here to say. It's like someone collected all the crusty tissues from under HeHasTheJizzHands' bed and glued them to the top of an eclipse.
