Hey,
I tried a used ESP H-307 down at a local music store and really liked the way it played and sounded (it had 707s upgrade). I do, however, want a tremolo if I buy a 7 string, and the MH-307 is nearly impossible to get a hold of.
How does the Loomis compare in terms of feel and sound? I called around to nearly 10 Schecter dealers closest to me and none stock Loomis guitars, so I don't really have any way of testing before buying. Should I go with the hardtail ESP that I liked (except I'd be wishing it had a Floyd Rose...) or should I take the risk and get a Loomis FR without trying it out first? Is the neck gonna feel bulkier or anything? What are the main differences?
