I find the DA7 a bit more harsh, harder/stronger and therefore less forgiving (when compared to EVO7), it captures every thing with punch and in-your-face even tone (not too bright, nor too dark nor mid scooped)...
For me it is a bit harder to find control on my gain settings, it feels like there is no room for mid gain, with the gain down it is already barking and a little up with the gain, off to dirt land we go. I like it, but not to the point on having it installed permanently on my guitars.
