the LoTRS on my roommate's old RG7420 used a screw in bar, and so did the one on the S7420 that i saw at the sam ash a year or two ago. yours must've been modded.

if the bridge looks like this:
S7420-4.JPG

with that little hex nut with the screw threads on the inside there, Then it uses a screw in bar.

Well, mine is just like that but there's no screw threads inside...
That's why the pop-in is the one fitting.
So maybe it's been modded after all (if so, i wasn't aware at all. It's my only Lo-Trs equipped guitar).
Anyway...

I guess :

no screw threads = pop-in
with screw threads = screw in

djpharoah, sorry if i've put you on the wrong lead. :)
Just get what fits with yours.

Rich sells them seperately at ibanezrules.com... he's got the
Edge/loPro/Edge pro bar (the one you linked)
The edge II/III ( essentially a bent piece of steel)
The ZR bar(threaded, but i think its a different thread than the trs)
LO-TRS (??)
LO-TRSII... i guess the TRS and TRSII use different bars?

The downside on those things is you can't take them out and put a OFR bar in there, at least from what i've seen, it'd be so much easier to find parts that way...

take it up to a local guitar store and see if anything fits, it'll be cheaper & Faster than ordering a specialized part from ibanez or ibanezrules.com.

Ken's right, TRS7s are screw in. If you dont have a screw in, then something bad happened.

Ok - just installed the new strings and oiled the fretboard which it really needed. Setup the lo-trs bridge and all is well.

The great thing about mahogany is that this thing sounds great acoustically as well as plugged in. I mean its so much louder and brighter than the basswood guitars.

A lot of that has to do with how thin, light and resonant it is, less with the fact its mahogany. A Les Paul won't sound loud acoustically usually. Nice score man.

 Sibling Rivalry, great pics man, you got that guitar at one hell of a steal in price.
Glad you liked the sibling rivalry pics Dan. Cuz I just packed away your Rg7421 and this is probably the first time in my life having 2 guitars at the same time let alone both 7 stringers!

oh man you need to buy more gear, the most guitars I had at 1 time was 5, 3 7's and 2 6's
Well while Im in school tuition and student loans are higher up on my list, once Im out with a job, sure will definitely hit up some guitars.
