Just wondering what everyone's favourite body styles are and number of strings etc. Let's just discuss what you'd love to see in a guitar

The JPX and forward bodystyle is my favorite of all time. I think it's prettiest in a 7 string.

The EBMM Majesty 7.

Most comfy guitar I've ever strapped on. Most comfy ANYTHING I've ever strapped on.

EDIT: I would agree that the Ibanez S bodies are a close second.

anything Super-Strat, PRS double cuts, and the Strandberg Boden.

6/7 strings for me. I'm still trying to get used to 8.

The usual Ibanez RG superstrat, really.

But, I must say I like their Halberd... very curvy.

My fave body styles in general:
1) RG
2) Les Paul
3) SA

For sixers in like the Les Paul shape and SA's

7 strings and above = RG all day.

I really like the more modern variations of super strats like these:

6, 7, or 8, doesn't really matter to me.

Strat derived bodies. I really like classic vintage fenders, but also newer variations like Suhr, Blackmachine, Skervesen, Daemoness, KXK and so on.

Les Paul style is very good looking also. The traditional gibson shape or the older versions of PRS Singlecuts.

To mention is that these body styles very easily get very ugly with the wrong adjustments like many versions from different luthiers and companys that has tried to improve the body shape or adjusted to avoid getting sued.

It depends on the day. The Horizon (and similar shapes - archtop superstrats) is my dead favorite hands down. The right blend of modern and classic.

The Gibson-style Flying V shape is up there too.

I actually love most Gibson shapes, but I hate playing them aside from the V... Les Pauls are uncomfortable as hell, Explorers are worse. But so cool looking...

Of course I kinda prefer the ESP version...

Also Warlocks. No clue why. I just love them. Must be the 15-year-old inside me (or the Vhyle inside me).

Only picked that pic because I own that Warlock... such a POS but I love the shape. Sanded it right down, though, haha.

Also a big fan of offset shapes. Jazzmasters, Horizon-IIIs, Mystiques, Jazz basses... it's all right up my alley.
