My local guitar store has a Vintage Music Man 2x12 Combo which has two separate channels, one of which has a really great tremolo and reverb. The amp has a solid state preamp and tube power amp and was designed to take pedals well or simply be a crystal clean amp. $374. 
I tried it with the new Mesa Boogie Throttle Box EQ and walked away impressed with with both pieces of gear. So if you have pedals, check out old Music Man amps. Businesses price used gear based off eBay "Sold" listings and eBay apparently says vintage Music Man amps are dirt cheap.
