I just dig the fluid sound you get out of them in your guitars - clearly its a combination of both things but I sort of hear guitar tones as colours so yours sound something like mercury looks to me - which is really cool.

yes i think we both agreed on this earlier on in this thread so maybe need to think about a new head design which would be as much in line as possible but would not look ridiculous.
Actually, there is a thread about someone asking Agile to built a telecaster shaped 8 string, the head design reminds me of Hetfield's explorer guitar's head shape....if this makes any sense as a description!!!

Yep and i really dont like that headstock design....
Its not easy to find a design which could suit an 8 string tele....
