First 7 string

I plan on buying a seven string guitar in 3 months for my birthday but I don't know what to get. I can spend up to $800 on it. I already play guitar an I'm fairly good at it. I'm looking for a guitar with emg pickups and a hardtail bridge. I prefer heavier guitars as long as they are well balanced and not neck heavy. I also prefer an explorer shape like a dean z or Gibson explorer. I would also settle for any guitar where the knobs are not right next to the bridge like the dean z.

The ibanez RGA7 or RGA7QM. Not equipped with EMG's but they are routed for them, so you could spend the extra 200$ on a pair!

If you're heart set on that body style, you could check out the Ibanez Xiphos 7 string, but you'd have to get a used one to fit into your budget.
