There's some serious peaking when the drums come in so you might want to take a look at that.

It was hard to tell from such a short clip but what I'd say is you have a decent enough tone to work with. What I would do then is to high pass the guitars from about 80-100Hz because there's a lot of boom there and then a low pass at about 7500-8000Hz to get rid of the fiz. Also, heard some noise before the guitars come in so you might want to run a noise gate as well.

From what I could hear, the guitars didn't really seem hard panned left and right, although that might have just been me.

And get yourself some monitors or decent headphones because they are invaluable for mixing!

thanks for the advice !
jep i know about the monitors and i'm going to buy them :yesway:

i haven't cut the guitar lines so there come the noises from, i know about them, but i just want to get some decent tone in general for now. those are things i would treat later ;)

i doubbled the guitars twice
first line is panned 91 l+r second around 70 l+r

thanks again for the feedback, i appreciate your help :)

Really? If have a soundcloud-account on my own and i don´t have those
kinds of problems. The only one is that they can´t be embedded here.

Well I've seen a couple of soundcloud clips posted in here (close to a quarter thousand) and there's been a few of these in the last months. Every dude having this problem sais that the clipping occurs after they've uploaded it to soundcloud, and they all do sound like this. I might be wrong ofc.
